How do I schedule?
Click the orange “Book Now” button found throughout this website. This will direct you to MoeGo, our online scheduling provider. Also, you can call us directly at 406.802.0232 or email woof@themobilepetbarber.com.
What areas do you service?
Currently we serve most of the Bitterroot Valley, from Hamilton to Stevensville, Montana. If you have a question regarding if we can serve you outside of this area, please give us a call.
Where can you travel?
The Mobile Pet Barber is designed to operate in areas with reliable cell coverage and paved roads. Our Sprinter Van requires 9’ of clearance which includes over-hanging trees and we require full clearance on all sides when entering a property.
How long will it take?
The amount of time spent depends on the size, breed, and temperament of your pet, as well as the regularity of grooming the pet has received. Typically, we allot 1-2.5 hours per pet.
Do you groom cats?
At this time, our cat grooming service is limited to nail trims and brush outs with minor de-matting if needed. We’ll be expanding to bathing and full grooming soon.
Can I schedule more than one pet at a time?
Yes, we can take up to two pups at a time, depending on size and temperament. As we strive to provide a distraction free environment, our van is equipped with two grooming stations and there will be two of us present at all times. We schedule appointments for cats separately, one at a time, as we need to take special precautions within our environment to ensure their wellness and safety.
Our Power and Water
We are a completely self-reliant mobile pet grooming salon. Our power comes from state of the art battery sources specifically designed for mobile grooming units that we charge on our own premises prior to arrival. In addition, our van carries it’s own clean water which is heated for use and we capture all dirty water in a separate tank.
Do you require vaccinations?
Yes. Your pet’s health and well-being is our first priority. We require that all vaccinations be current and on file. Please provide before or at the time of your appointment.
How often do you recommend grooming?
The amount between grooming appointments depends on the type of breed along with size and lifestyle.
Can I use my own shampoo?
Yes. We use products that offer Hypo-allergenic options. However, if you are more comfortable using your own pet shampoo or veterinarian prescribed shampoo, we would be happy to use your own.
